"This was a horrible, racist, discriminatory experience for us. From the 11 year olds with babies to kids getting jumped in the lunch room to teachers walking out over accusations of abusing a young girl this is a horrible school. I may come back and update it with more details and photos but for now: if you have to go here-homeschool. If you have to come to clovis-homeschool. If you can leave Clovis? Leave. This is not the school district or school if you have smart, well-behaved black children. Its not the school if you have smart children with a drop out rate higher than almost every state and state scores below every state but I believe Tennessee. The photo is my child's scores we left town because of the racism in the school and retaliation. The teacher circled wrote on an assessment my child needs to get into her new states elite self contained gifted school that she "is below her peers in language, creativity, performance and is just an average and below student." Um she is a little girl in 6th grade in all pre-AP classes with straight friggn As! and in this teachers Pre AP class so clearly they are racist and trying to sabotage us for filing complaints. Iy is so contradictory that she has ALL As and is in Pre AP yet this is the epitomy of racism and self entitlement A+ BLACK STUDENT is still judged as below avergae even when their scores, performance, history is SUPERIOR to ALL of their peers. How can a child have straight As yet be below her peers? Isn't English the study of language? and isn't Pre Ap implying she has ABOVE AVERAGE learning abilities for a 6th grader? Exactly. The district is holding my kids transcripts hostage, doctoring attendence, grade tampering, retaliating, the school staff are harassing us on the phone, by email, and interfering with their enrollment in our new state. Its fine though."
