"I have been going to Dr Capocyan for many years and she has always been wonderful. I called this week for an appointment, I hadn’t been to see her in 2 years only because she wasn’t a provider for the insurance I had. I spoke to Jessica and was told she was booked till September. I said that was hard to believe since it was always able to get an appointment before. She very rudely said it was summer so they were busy. I said okay I guess I’d have to go somewhere to be seen sooner. She said she would put me on the patient cancellation list there was no well you have been a patient for a long time or we will try to fit you in. I found a doctor I could see in 2 weeks so I called to have my records emailed to me, once again Jessica said I only had 2 options, very rudely again. I could have them faxed to the new doctor or pick them up in person to which I said I work 5 days a week and to come in person would require me to take off of work. It’s really a shame I like Dr Capocyan but it seems she is too busy for long time patients and her staff doesn’t care to keep those patients."
"Very good doctor, she is on time at hospital even though it was around 2 am, very kind and talkative dr that explains every details without get tired or bored. I wish the staff was the same unfortunately they waited you long each time (for no reason) each visit make us tired though, but i do recommend the dr very much but not the staff at all."
"HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. COMPLETLY UNPROFESSIONAL. I am 7 months pregnant and was looking for a Dr that speaks Tagalog. After giving insurance, expected due date, and medical records (no complications), was EXPLICITLY told they WOULD ACCEPT me as a new patient by Jessica. We called the next day to give our availability, but now they said that the Doctor had to review her records again before making an appointment and will call again in 2 days. NO CALL. We called back, and they said they would call again in 2 days. NO CALL. This went on for 2 WEEKS! Completly unprofessional. During this time Jessica completly changed her story saying that i was NOT accepted yet, and that the Dr, still had to review the records before deciding. Still NO CALLS. We called again. After expressing our concern about not calling us for any updates, Jessica said in a rude tone "I told you we would call on Friday." We told her, "Yes... and today is Monday. That was last week." We were then told that Dr would be in the office in the afternoon to review her records and would call today. NO CALL!!! We called back and the other receptionist told us that the Dr did NOT even come into the office that day. WHAT?! We expressed our confusion and told her what Jessica told us, so she took a message. 5 minutes later (what a coincidence!) we get a call from Jessica told us that the Dr would NOT take her as a new patient because it is the office policy to not take someone that is is already 7 months pregnant. After expressing our unbelief, Jessica HANG UP ON US!! We just moved to Houston , and I am expecting soon and need to be seen by an OBGYN as soon as possible. We could have been looking for another OBGYN this entire time... You knew it was your policy to not take someone 7 months pregnant THE FIRST DAY WE CALLED YOUR OFFICE, but instead you kept us waiting.."
"HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Wife is 7 months pregnant and we were looking for a Dr that speaks Tagalog. After giving insurance, expected due date, and medical records (no complications), was EXPLICITLY told they WOULD ACCEPT her as a new patient by "Receptionist J." The next time we called, they said that the Doctor had to review her records again before making an appointment and will call again in 2 days. NO CALL. We called back, and they said they would call again in 2 days. NO CALL. This went on for 2 WEEKS! We called again. After expressing our concern about not contacting us, Receptionist J said I told you we would call on Friday in a rude tone. We told her, yes and today is Monday. We were then told that Dr would be in the office in the afternoon to review her records and would call today. NO CALL!!! We called back and the other receptionist told us that the Dr didn't even come into the office that day. We told her what Receptionist J told us, and she took a message. 5 minutes later (what a coincidence!) we get a call from Receptionist J stating that Dr would NOT take her as a new patient because it is the office policy to not take someone that is is already 7 months pregnant. Questions for the Dr: The FIRST THING we told them WEEKS AGO was her due date... Why only now they are saying she cannot be a patient if it is already your policy? Final thoughts I moved to Houston with my 7 month pregnant wife for my new job. She is expecting soon and needs to be seen by an OBYN as soon as possible. We could have been looking for another OBGYN this entire time... You knew it was your policy to not take someone 7 months pregnant, but instead you kept us waiting."
"I've been going to Dr. Capocyan for 8 years and she is amazing! She makes you feel very comfortable whether you're going for an annual visit or a specialized visit. She is extremely knowledgeable about all things OBGYN, and the office itself is very welcoming."
