"Dr Tang is a nice and friendly doctor he listens and patiently advice his patients. His staff also are very polite."
"My husband and I have seen Dr. Tang for years. We started seeing his brother then him. Both very professional and attentive. Appointments are easy to get, waits not too long (compared to other doctors I see). I wish they still have Saturday appointments."
"Dr. Tang and his staff have been wonderful for our family. He's very attentive when I've explained a medical concern. He doesn't rush through the appointment time. He gets to know his patients and their family. When I lost my brother, whom he'd never met, he showed great compassion for me in a time of grief. We've been blessed to find this family doctor who's close to home and takes excellent care of his patients."
"We aren’t people who write reviews, but people should know how this office does business. My husband and I have been going to Dr. Timothy Tang for over 3 years. First of all, you are giving an appointment the same time as 5 other patients; so be ready to wait. We noticed last year, Dr. Tang started wanting to run unnecessary test to get more money from insurance company. Some we did and some we did not do; you have to determine that. This year, my husband changed Insurace companies; but was comfortable with Dr. Tang. As a result, my husband was going to pay out of pocket for his office visits. Even though my husband still considered him as his PPO, Dr Tang would not even sign a preauthorization form from the pharmacy on a refill he gave my husband for his prescription; which was written at last November’s visit. When the pharmacy faxed it to Dr. Tang’s office, I called his office and was told he could not sign it because he was not in my husband’s insurance network. A week later I contacted the insurance company who stated to me that Dr. Tang could sign the preauthorization form because he wrote the prescription. My husband current insurance company conference Dr Tang and myself on the phone to explain to him that he did not have to be in Network to sign the form. Dr. Tang harsh and rude response was that he should not be harassed to sign a preauthoraization form where the insurance company isn’t paying him and my husband needs to go see a new doctor in his new network; so he could have his medication covered. My husband and I are deeply hard broken over this because we considered him as our doctor, could not understand what the problem was because he was still going to pay out of pocket for his services; We realized that Dr. Tang did not see my husband in that way anymore. He saw my husband as a person not in his network and he couldn’t make money for up charges. I understand that his business isn’t as busy as it once was because people are afraid of going to the doctor. But there is a such thing as good bedside manners for insured and out of pocket payments. Well, he lost both of us and my husband will take Dr. Tang’s advice to find a doctor in his network (with no copay) and keep his cash. So if you make him your doctor expect multiple test that you probably don’t need billed to your insurance and don’t trust that he is a doctor who cares."
"Dr A. Tang and Dr T. Tang are excellent, professional and compassionate physicians who take the time to listen, understand, explain and provide information about treatments. We and our family members have been patients for over 10 years. The Office Staff have always been kind, courteous and respectful...Having caring Physicians like them is a blessing!"
