"My son went to this school for the summer program in 2021 and 2022. We loved the teachers (and the playground and hot meals!). I, however, made the decision to remove him from the program before the end of the second summer because we had concerns that were not addressed or taken seriously by either the Director or church leadership. My primary concerns were that my son was coming home dehydrated and was denied access to water (outside of lunch and recess) and that the curriculum did not include Christian content. I should have gone with my gut feeling when I didn't feel right about the cold environment the Director and her daughter had created with extensive rules that do not allowing children to be children and play freely - as they should be able to at age 3! It is sad and surprising in a world where we know so much about childhood brain development that this treatment is still allowed to happen. It is both borderline abusive and traumatic for a child to expected to act like a little adult and not allowed to have water. Hopefully, the school has made some changes. I would be remiss, however, if I did not make an effort to make sure these things are brought to other parent's awareness and taken into account when they are researching childcare options."

"My daughter’s teacher has a Master’s in Education and more than 20 years’ experience in the classroom. There are small class sizes, my daughter’s acceleration in kindergarten has been tremendous, and the community is tight-knit and kind. I can’t say enough about this school!"
