"Beautiful park...nice playground! Can't believe the ball fields have no dirt and is all stone though...ouch!"
"Very nice walking trails! Fire pit, skateboard park, baseball fields, real wash rooms, concession stand & playground. The local Cub Scout troops volunteer here and keep the area clean, it’s always a very clean park."
"Good food and drink. Sports bar atmosphere if that's you "thing". Unfortunately, our waitress lacked experience and was slow to respond to requests. We were counting on shared desserts after a satisfying meal, only to find out that the kitchen was closed. If she had informed us of the kitchen timing we would have pre-ordered desserts. It's the little things that make a difference."
"Great place for the kids to play baseball. 4 fields around the concession stand with 2 bathrooms. Plenty of space to set up chairs or sit on the bleachers. There's a playground for the young ones to play on just over the bridge towards the parking lot & a skate park. The coaches, assistants & the the park district keep the place in great shape. It's always a pleasant experience there."
"My kids love the skate park here. The trail is nice and it is pretty clean and secluded which may not always be the best thing for a park LOL."
