"The hispanic lady at the front desk is the sweetest most attentive receptionist. i always go to her, although they seem to go through other receptionists quickly. but she is excellent. dr.bertles is literally the only person i would allow to perform a well woman’s exam on me. i didn’t go to the lady doctor for over 10 years because of a traumatizing first pap smear. dr.burtles was very reassuring. she is gentle with my body. the other doctor there did one and she was not nearly as patient with me. so again. i only trust dr.bertles. aside from that her personality is perfect for a doctor. she’s respectful and personable. she’s honest and kind. she’s not invasive but she cares. she listened to my concerns about medication for post partum depression, when the first medication didn’t fit me well she listened to me when i told her the exact medication i thought would work for me and she gave me the ideal dose for it. i feel like myself again. she got me through my biggest fear, which was pregnancy, with grace. and she continues to care for me after. i couldn’t be more grateful to have such an understanding, patient and gentle doctor."
"Love Dr. Bertles, she helped deliver my baby and is very kind, but communication within the staff and front desk need to be worked on. I had multiple occasions of lack of communication for example: I was prescribed a medication without knowing what for and a scheduled induction without communicating to me. My biggest issue was the way they handled payments. My card info had gotten stolen 3 times during my pregnancy (finally figured out it was from ordering food online.) A really nice lady at the desk changed the card info for the last and final time with my current card and Im assuming the info got typed wrong because apparently my card info was not working. At this point I was about to give birth any week and I only had phone calls from them, NO voicemails about my payments declining. I assumed these phone calls were appointment reminders because they didn’t leave a voicemail. I was seeing the staff in person EVERY WEEK because I was going to go in labor any day. I asked them everyday “is there anything else I need to do” because I had noticed my payment for that month had not come out yet and they would always just send me on my way. Long story short is that there was no support or effective communication, I went $1000 in debt with them and it was sent to collections without proper communication and by time we figured it out i couldn’t afford it because I had paid all my hospital bills. I’m a teacher and when you take leave (and don’t have enough sick days) you are getting a partial paycheck. Communication goes a long way, and they are probably looking at me as the customer who “never answers her phone and is ignoring them” but I had communicated to them many times that I had no voicemails or emails. I gave two stars because I genuinely think the staff is very nice, but the communication by calls with no voicemails and email was a huge red flag because now I have minimal evidence of this happening in writing. I wish them well and I hope they improve on their communication practices."
"After having a really bad experience with my previous OBGYN, Dr. Bertles really made me feel welcome and heard. She listened, gave advice and helped me through my nervous and anxiety. Answered quickly through their messaging portal and her staff is super sweet. I looked forward to my appointments and knew I would be treated well and everyone always seemed happy and gave me joy to show up. I’ve never felt more at home and comfortable and I will surely have all my babies with her. Delivery was even super smooth and checking in on me at the hospital while recovering was extra special to me. I/we couldn’t have been happier with a doctor like this and I would highly recommend this doctor over and over again."
"I have been seeing Dr Bertles since 2020, she is very friendly and nice but direct and to the point, which I really appreciate! Amanda is also amazing! They all work hard to ensure you are seen at your appointment time, opposed to other offices that have you sitting for 30 minutes or longer. Really appreciate that anything you may need is likely to be done in office. Would recommend Dr Bertles!!"
"Excellent customer service. Dr. Bretles is not only very good on her medical knowledge, also very gentle, nice, and sweet. This place is very organize and they don't keep you waiting like any other doctor's office."
