"Ingrid Skop treated my wife terribly as her OB-GYN. Right before our delivery date, she informed us that she would be unavailable due to a vacation. She told us we should schedule a c section before she left despite knowing we wanted a vaginal birth. We found out from a friend who used her that the vacation was planned months in advance. Skop was rude and dismissive even before that. She didn't call after our daughter's birth. Another friend almost died during her delivery because Skop didn't do her job correctly. Fortunately, another doctor caught it. Yet another friend had an issue with a miscarriage because Skop wouldn't intervene. Now I see she's the only testifying OB-GYN on behalf of the state in justifying a ban on D&E procedures even when the mother's life is in danger. This doctor is incompetent, heartless, and places politics above her patients. She should at least be honest about her standard of care so patients can make an informed choice before consenting to her care. I can't believe this woman was willing to suggest surgical intervention for her personal convenience but will risk the lives of patients for her politics."

"We are looking for an Obgyn, and when I researched this doc, I found a New York Times article that quotes her position supporting the Texas anti-abortion law saying "If [a 9 or 10 year old girl] is developed enough to be menstruating and become pregnant...she can safely give birth to a baby". This doctor seems to lack common sense and basic empathy; I fear for how her cruel and insensible logic might be applied in other cases. I don't feel like she could be trusted to provide unbiased counsel to us if we ended up having a problem."

"Dr Skop is a compassionate doctor who truly listened to our concerns, and followed through. She took time after a surgery to explain in detail her findings, and to answer all my questions. She far and away exceeded any expectations I had, and I am so thankful for her!!!"

"Dr. Skop was friendly and nice. We visited her for a first time visit, for a 10 day follow up after an early miscarriage. It was a stressful and emotionally strained time for us. She was detailed in her explanations of the facts pertaining to health, age and possible causes. She offered a sonogram & yearly exam to allow us to close this chapter and move forward to try for our rainbow baby. We found her very informative and friendly, see no reason for the negative reviews prior. You have to be understanding that she is an OBGYN & delivers babies and sees pregnant women and other women in various stages of health situations, some days she may not have the time to spend as she normally would if an event is taking place at the time of your visit."
