Menchaca Elementary School

"Ive tried really hard to like this mess of a school. Trying to start my son in this school has been a nightmare. Ive gone down to give paperwork atleast 5 times, bc they've lost it, then didn't realize they gave me the wrong paperwork to fill out, then have called me at work many many times to keep telling me more things they forgot to get from me or give me to sign. Even my grandmother has stopped by to give more paperwork that's never is enough. Im shocked, i thought the fact that they state they have social and emotiobal development classes theyd be more together but if you cant get this right how can i trust you to teach my child beinh this disorganized. I even spoke to the principal and nothing, no apology about this mess, no let me help you, its ridiculous and concerning. I hope no other parents deal with the chaoticness of this schools disorganization.. its frustrating when all you wanna do is put your child in a place to be educated and you get this.."

"The staff is wonderful. My kids pre k and k attend full time. It's wonderful. The teachers are great with the kids and the extra curricular programs are wonderful. They even let me start a garden for our pre k class, herbs and vegetables as well as a separate pollinating flower bed. Can't wait to see the new building!!"
