"Love this place! Lots of space. Only issue is getting into the water it's pretty mucky on the lake floor. Some spots were sink holes of clay and needed sand. Otherwise this entire area is so fun. Playground was currently under construction so we will definitely be back to check it out when it's finished."
"Wonderful family beach in your backyard! Parking across the street (bring a wagon for all your things), porta potty only at the entrance, small hike to the beach and playground. Nice sandy beach. My kids played for hours in the sand and loved the beach and lake here!"
"Beautiful park with a playground, volleyball court, the lake and a shelter area with some benches. They just seriously need to build a true bathroom area with maybe a water station because to have one portapotty for this park area is just sad, and Grayslake pulls in enough taxes for it."
"This is a great park. It has a playground, volleyball court, picnic area, and a beach. Lots of people swim, kayak, etc. It is dog friendly too. You can also fish here. The grounds are kept up almost every morning when I am there. One issue: the beach and grass get covered with water even with a little rain - needs a permanent fix."
