"Dr Gurwitz was the first gynecologist I went to for birth control. Not only did she have horrible bedside manner, she did not advocate or educate which birth control was the best for me or provided information for the different types. She also refused to give me the IUD and said it’s only for those who have had children. Which is BS. Because uh hello my body my choice!! She/nobody should be regulating that. I went to a different gynecologist (& got the IUD) who actually was helpful, explains and listens to their patients. I would not recommend Dr. Gurwitz unless you like your body being regulated and being told you can only have IUD after kids, which is not true."

"Dr. Gurwitz has the worst manners. She's rude, impatient and demeaning. Left feeling like we were an inconvenience. I was so angry afterwards and still so after these 2 years. After reading the other bad reviews here about her I couldnt help but share my feelings. In fact just select another obgyn system or practice."

"I have had Dr Gurwitz for a few years. She has always been ok but not as personable as I would like but acceptable. Well recently after 2 years I did my annual. She was not in the best of moods. She had allergies. She was quick and somewhat rude and rushed me out with instructions for a mammogram and bone density. I was not expecting that. I have other health reasons that I would prefer to get with my internal medicine Dr before any other tests like the mammogram and bone density.She did not talk to me about having to have other tests done. Just shoved the forms quickly. Did not have time to think. Well after a week and a half I had to call to ask about my annual Well woman results. . The receptionist told me that she could not say anything because the Dr had to approve thinking it was probably because she was going to wait after the other tests. I did not appreciate having to hold on without results until the other tests were done first. She has never done this before. I called back and said to forget it and that I would ultimately get my PCP to ask for the results and to consult about getting the other tests done. I am still upset and the receptionist was not very nice either. I was obviously anxious. What a mistake I made . Not going back"

"Worst doctor ever don’t ever choose her to be your obgyn!! She is very rude and cold and she induced me before my due date for no reason (it was my first baby so i didn’t know much about it but she should’ve informed me) anyways she broke my water at only 1 cm dilated without my consent and I ended up with a c section. All she cares about is her schedule and rushes every single appointment just like she rushed my birth. She rolled her eyes when I was in labor when I asked for an epidural. She deserves to have her license taken. Trust me you’ll make a huge mistake choosing her as your OBGYN!!!"

"I would not recommend Dr. Gurwitz. She is very cold, doesn’t seem to care about the questions you have and makes you feel stupid for not knowing something. Always in a rush as well.... I am pregnant with my 2nd and definitely happier with the obgyn I have this time. Dr gurwitz also induced me on my due date, I wish I knew more about it and had waited a little longer. She also did an episiotomy without ever discussing it with me. Either way you live and you learn and I’ve done plenty more of my own research."
