"I can’t express what a wonderful school Houser Elementary is. Wonderful principals, teachers and even the front office is amazing. They truly nurture and work so hard to create a loving environment for the children. We are blessed to have children who attend Houser."

"The school put my 6 year old son on the bus, knowing he was a car rider. Knowing he has medical conditions, they dropped him off on the corner, 4 blocks away from our street! My wife found him but all the district says is "sorry". So disorganized."

"We switched to Oak Ridge schools for a better school career for our kids. We were their 4 months and hated every minute of it. My kids began asking not to go each day (very unlike them), they seemed down often, they weren't bringing work home to show me what they had been doing, lack of communication, office staff was snooty, car rider line is a mess, speech dept. is a JOKE. We had one of our children's teachers who we enjoyed other than that it was a night mare. I dreaded having to force my kids to go there knowing how unhappy they were. Needless to say we moved and they are attending their old school and are overly excited. My children have lit back up knowing they are out of that gloomy place."
