"The theater has perfect sound. Many complaints about not having any center aisles! Each row is about 50 seats wide. I love the Hemmens! Mr Goodman is the new conductor of the Elgin Symphony orchestra, and his style is amazing."
"Always a wonderful experience when I go to the Hemmens. The acoustics are marvelous and I have not seen a performance that wasn't top tier. We are so lucky to have this auditorium and the Elgin Symphony right in our beautiful city! I stopped at Elgin Cigar and Art on State St first for a cigar and headed over to the Hemmens to enjoy an evening of classical music!! A perfect and wonderful evening."
