"I am one of those people that absolutely hate going to doctor offices. I hate everything about them and refuse to go unless I'm deathly ill or absolutely have to. I haven't seen a GYN in years and figured it was long overdue. I called the office looking to schedule with Dr.Yu, but she wouldn't be available until at least another 3 weeks. Tamika at the front desk was super helpful and not only verified that Dr.Spurdon was covered under my insurance but also scheduled me for the very next day! Mind you I already had anxiety about going to begin with so the faster I got it over with the better. I got off the phone and a few minutes later Tamika calls me back and tells me there's an appointment available for the same day! Even better! Long story short, Dr. Spurdon and the staff were amazing. Dr.Spurdon was informative and showed empathy. I especially appreciated how she made conversation while she did her thing with my lady parts. It was a women's wellness after all. I didn't feel awkward but in fact comfortable. I greatly appreciate how she didn't treat me like just a patient but a human being. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I had to wait for almost an hour to be seen. But the staff and Dr are great, so much so that I felt the need to leave a review. I would most likely come back here even with the wait time."
