Towne Park

"Fun park for the kids! The equipment is fairly worn and a bit run down. The playground area is in need of some new wood chips. This park has a pavilion with grills and many picnic tables. Beautiful creek and bridge by the parking lot. Kids had fun playing in it. Nice bike trails and our kids love the wooden playground “castle” structures. Bathrooms are a bit “meh” and not very clean. Bring your own wipes. Side note - Don't rely on your GPS / Google Maps / Apple Maps to get you to this park. Google Maps took us to the maintenance building instead of the park. There is a wonderful ice cream shop nearby (within walking distance) and we usually go to the gourmet ice cream shop for ice cream for the kids and then we walk to the park and let the kids eat their ice cream and then play in the playground area. Very nice park area, and great biking trails. I used to take our kids here when they were younger (riding my bike and pulling them in a trailer) and the kids loved the beautiful scenery and fresh air."

"LOVED the setting of this park! So gorgeous. Only downside was there were a lot of spiders and spider webs on the play equipment and while I usually love lil critters, my 5 and 3 year old kids do not. Great learning opportunity, but my kids won’t be super jazzed to go back to the “spooky park”!"

"I love this park! Its beautiful, and such a big park. The stream of water that goes under the bridge at the entrance is my favorite. There is a shaded picnic/sitting area. Definitely recommend visiting this park!"

"The place is such a nice park and is so fun to play at. Nothing will beat the memories and time I had here. The music in the park is so good and is a great way to support small local bands and local food trucks. The food and music is normally so awesome to eat and listen to."

"Had a great morning here today. I went early so there wasn’t too many people around yet, though by the time I left, it was getting quite busy with people enjoying the great weekend weather. This park has so much interesting history and things to explore (see photos and video)."
