Build-A-Bear Workshop

"This was my first time at a build a bear. (I am 38 with 3 kids) The way it has been talked about I was expecting....more. Not like Disney magic but a little 4th of July sparkler at least. I thought it was to be more of an experience as well as building the bear. We walked in, and my 2 toddlers picked what "bear" they wanted. As my first time, i assumed this is what you were supposed to do because there were only 2 employees, one at the register and one violating Mr. Pooh Bear with stuffing. We then got in a line facing the large stuffing machine. And apparently, it takes a bit of time to stuff these animals, so this was not a short line inside a tiny store. It all seemed to be the normal process, but it felt like something was missing... the sparkle. And maybe some new or cleaned up equipment where children are supposed to be able to go to brush and pretend to wash their new favorite stuffed animal."

"Would give it more stars if I could. The manager Stephanie went way above and beyond to make the experience magical and perfect. Build a Bear is very important to me, seeing that, Stephanie took extra steps to make sure the experience was extra special for my bears and I despite the store being busy."

"The manager Stephanie went out of her way to help my son pick out a special stuffed animal. The staff was all very helpful and patient with him as he changed his mind a million time. Definitely would go back to this location for our next Build a Bear (by the way we went twice this year already ☺️) Toothless and his Bear get brought many places with us!"

"I have been going to build a bear for years and I mean like 30 years…I wanted my grandkids to have that experience that my kids had so my grandson was excited about turning 5 and getting his chance to bring a stuffed friend to life….But this will be the last time I visit this location as Stephanie and her team member treated us so badly that it ruined the whole experience. Also was caught laughing at us behind our backs from the family we had waiting at the entrance out side by the windows of the store… One lady did her duty and stuffed the bear but no excitement. Our 5 year old wasn’t as excited about his experience as my kids had been because he was treated like this day wasn’t a big deal. They were out of stock of a lot of things and when asked they answered with an attitude. When I was told we could use a coupon Stephanie refused it with an attitude. When I asked Stephanie if she was the manger she laugh with a wicked smile knowing I was unhappy like she didn’t even care…THIS ISN'T THE PLACE TO GO FOR THE BUILD A BEAR EXPERIENCE!!!! Try a different location sadly!!!! Not kid friendly!!!"
