"Food was average at best. Tried it once and I doubt I will have it again. The rice had a weird waxy taste to it. There are better options at this location."

"I loved the service and respect they have for their customers. They allowed my friend and I to sample the food before getting it so we knew if we would like it. The pricing was good for the amount of the food as well as the quality of the food it was fresh and hot the noodles were amazing and si was the chicken egg rolls and everything it was fabulous. Definitely a recommendation if you want good Chinese food"

"For any and all Chinese food loving enthusiasts, stay away please. The food at the location was extremely dry and orange chicken tasted as if someone bit into a ripe orange. The bourbora chicken was full of pieces of fat and dry. The employees were sweet and nice, just the food isn’t it. Sad to see Panda Express was replaced for this here…."

"I grew up in my parents' American Chinese restaurant and lived near Chicago's Chinatown for 15 years. Recently moving to Rockford and trying to find a taste of home has been difficult. While China Wok makes American Chinese food, some of the flavors and methods of cooking taste very authentic. When ate the Honey Lemon Chicken, I could close my eyes and taste/feel the breading and flavors of Beijing sweet and sour pork. The pepper steak was velveted and had a garlic black bean sauce. This honestly brought tears to my eyes because finding anything that tasted similar to my parents' cooking felt almost impossible in the Rockford area. I'll be coming to CherryVale mall more often just for China Wok."
