"Fantastic park with amazing equipment that all kids can play on. The local Kiwanis Club reworked the park so that the playground equipment is accessible to differently abled bodies. The park hosts free concerts during the summer and also sports a lovely butterfly garden. Restroom facilities are available and there is plenty of wide open space so that you could pop down for a picnic or play football! No glass containers and no smoking help keep the area safe for all. The pavilion is large and a great spot for having a cookout, a family reunion, or just lounging! Turley Park is a real blessing for the community. The Carbondale Park District does a fantastic job of maintenance and I encourage you all to visit this wonderful Carbondale Park!"

"Nice little Park right off of 13 with lots of play equipment for kids, a chess table for two and a butterfly garden. Lots of free parking. It's also very close to Murdale shopping center and easy walk to the co-op and Dave's Burgers. Every summer weekend they have free concerts here too."
