Dr. Saul Rivas

Dr. Saul Rivas is a Board Certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist located at UT Health RGV in Edinburg, Texas. Dr. Rivas specializes in providing comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services in Obstetrics and Gynecology, including preventive health care for women, infertility evaluation and treatment, pap tests, gynecology services, and both routine and high-risk pregnancy care. Dr. Rivas is dedicated to using the latest medical advancements to improve the health and quality of life for women in the RGV area.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Rivas is actively involved in medical education and training as the Medical Student Clerkship Director and Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UTRGV School of Medicine. He is committed to educating the next generation of healthcare leaders in medicine, research, and patient care.

Dr. Rivas is a member of several prestigious medical organizations, including the American Congress for Obstetricians & Gynecologists (ACOG), the Society for Academic Specialists in General Obstetrics & Gynecology (SASGOG), and the Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics (APGO). He was recently named the National Academy of Medicine Norman F. Grant/American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology Fellowship recipient for 2019-2021.

Dr. Rivas received his Medical Degree from Texas A&M Health Science Center in 2012 and completed his OB/GYN Residency training at the University of New Mexico in 2016. He also holds a Master of Science in Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the University of Texas Health Science Center.
