"After moving back to the valley, I had a hard time finding a good doctor, he was the only one with good reviews, but he really needs to hire a nurse practitioner, he has a lot of patients and delivering babies probably every week of the month, my visits were long(waiting )but I would see him pretty quick, Idk after having a baby in a different state and having a NP was actually pretty good because she listened to me , even though I met my doctor twice, and had a speedy delivery , she checked on me the following day and the day I was leaving the hospital. The staff at the office are nice and hopefully they added a water cooler, I know I would sometimes forget my water and after waiting a while I would get thirsty, so bring snacks too , overall 6/10 ."
"He’s the best! Very knowledgeable and deals with high risk pregnancies. He doesn’t have a PA, so you would only been seen by him. He takes his time to answer every question that you might have. I became a patient of his when a friend of mine recommended me to him due to multiple miscarriages."
"This is the WORST OG/GYN practice you can choose for you and your baby's care! Yvonne, the medical assistant/office manager will not get your insurance to the appropriate medical facilities that the Dr orders out of. She will make excuses why she didn't call and get it situated. She does not handle her other medical assistants with proper training to take your vitals and instead you get a call to come back 20 minutes after you have left. I had critical lab values that required me to come back immediately for repeat testing and the Dr chose not to even acknowledge my results or call me. I had to find out these results from my MFM doctor. If your appointment is at a certain time, you'll will see the Dr two hours later because according to him, he will not hire a NP to help him with his overload of patients. He may be a great Dr to deliver babies, but the process of even getting there is terrible!"
"He’s a great doctor, but twice they have scheduled me when he goes out to lunch, causing me to be there for over 3-4 hours. I came here years ago, and the wait was never this long before. Like I said, the staff and doctor are amazing, I just can’t stand how ridiculously long the wait is. And for the love of god, they should close during his lunch break. What’s the point of waiting there that long? I had to move my entire schedule around."
"Dr. Rodriguez-Ayala delivered my son 4 years ago and to be honest I'm pregnant again and I am not going to him again. The staff are great. The business is clean. However they do take over 2 hours most days in the waiting room and then another hour in the back which can be frustrating if you're pregnant and throwing up a lot. As well I didn't feel as tho the doctor himself put any real effort or care during visits and delivery. He wasn't rude or anything but he also wasn't attentive. People say that's just Doctors, but I don't find it acceptable. When I was in labor my nurses (thankfully) did all the work he just watched and barked orders at them I saw the frustration in them and it bothered me and my husband as well. I was in the hospital all day he only showed up about 10ish and when it got to midnight it seemed to myself, my husband and my mother-in-law (whom was also present for the birth) that he became impatient and finally took over from the nurses. He then cut me and vacuumed my child out and left (all normal stuff I suppose)."
