"Store itself is fine, but I would NOT recommend using their drive up and go. The last 3 times I did I had to wait 10 minutes AND call them to get the order… would have been faster if I just went in and got the items myself. Defeats the purpose."

"Every Sunday morning for years I go to the Jewel in Wheaton at Danada. Today was the last day I will ever step foot in this store. The staff is always very nice, but the shelves over the last three months have gotten bare. Today was the last straw, most of what I wanted was empty, I was forced to buy stuff I didn’t want, or not get what I was looking for. So Jewel your lack of product on the shelves has forced me to take my hard earned money to Mariano’s because you certainly don’t care anymore. Just close your doors because this store is worthless anymore they don’t care."

"I recently had the misfortune of encountering a cashier named Jan at a this jewel, and I must say it was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. Jan's incompetence and unprofessional behavior left me utterly frustrated and disappointed. Firstly, Jan seemed completely oblivious to the fact that there was a long line of customers waiting to be served. Instead of efficiently processing transactions, she moved at a snail's pace, holding up the line unnecessarily. It was evident that she lacked any sense of urgency or consideration for the customers' time. To make matters worse, when a customer had a specific request that required assistance from another department, Jan simply refused to call for help. She displayed a complete disregard for her responsibilities and the needs of the customers. It was astonishing to witness such blatant negligence and laziness. What truly shocked me, however, was Jan's unprofessional behavior towards a young service clerk girl. Instead of taking responsibility for her own mistakes, Jan resorted to yelling at the poor girl in front of everyone. Furthermore, Jan had the audacity to blame the young customer serivce girl (and explain that she was busy helping other customers on self checkout, taking phone calls and customer service desk.) for the delays and errors, shifting the blame away from herself. This level of unprofessionalism and lack of accountability is simply unacceptable. It is clear that Jan lacks the basic interpersonal skills required to work in a customer-facing role. Overall, my experience with Jan as a cashier was nothing short of a nightmare. Her incompetence, refusal to seek assistance, unprofessional behavior towards colleagues, and tendency to blame others for her own mistakes left me deeply dissatisfied. I strongly advise the management to address these issues promptly and ensure that customers are not subjected to such appalling service in the future."
