"I absolutely do not like leaving bad reviews. My preference is to speak with the manager/owner in hopes that they can internally resolve/address the issue. Well...tried that. I don't have the energy to go into the long story. But here is the jest of it. I'm still a little shocked and very much so offended and disrespected. I've been coming here for about 3 yrs. I'm not one who is big into nails, but I try to keep them up about every few weeks. And in the warmer months pedicures. I've always thought the techs were nice. They were usually decent with a simple no chip manicure and could get you in last minute. I've even had conversations here and there with the owner, who seemed to be a really nice lady. Until today when she told me to NEVER COME BACK AGAIN. This blew my mind. Never ever complained about their work before, even though there were definitely instances where I should have. I was told that a dip service would last longer than a no chip, which is what I normally get. I did the service and it didn't even last a week. There was a disagreement with how this should be handled. So, as the owner requested, I will not return again and will take my business to someone who actually appreciates loyal customers. Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction is key to the success of a business. It is foolish to think that you can provide anything less and continue to be a thriving business. Word of mouth is huge. And there is a nail shop on almost every corner and new ones popping up all the time. Nail shops that actually care about the client and the quality of service, which they are greatly lacking. I am very disappointed in the handling of this matter. I really thought this place was different but today they have proven me wrong. Unfortunately I had to add on to review after discovering the owner responding and trying to paint a different picture. Yes, after being told to never come back again, I requested my tip back from the nail tech. Because she knew I came for repair and that my understanding when I called was that it was complimentary. I made it known who I was when I arrived. And it was discussed with both of the nail techs who serviced me by removing the dip. No one told me to point out the nails that needed to be repaired and only those would be fixed. I don't know how this works or what your policy is. I have never had this situation before where I've requested a repair. You removed an entire hand and then pointed out a chip natural nail on one finger and said that was the reason the dip chipped. (Also I did not get dip again I did a no chip because I didn't want to chance it again) This basically stems from communication. Neither tech communicated to me what the requirement was to fix a nail set. Even after making clear that I was there for repair and that my understanding was that it would be comp'd because they were fixing their error, she still continued to complete the service. If there was an issue she should have made that clear or even asked the owner to assist with explaining (because at the time she was there). Not continue the service, giving me the impression that we're on the same page. And then after completing, call the owner( who is now gone) explaining the situation from her point of view, because of course I didn't understand what she was saying). When given the opportunity to speak with the owner I'm told don't come back. And after expressing my disgust for that response I'm asked to pay half. And you are right I didn't pay. But as I'm writing this I've decided I will pay you half. You have proven even further that your loyalty is to the money and not the service you provide. Instead of acknowledging your error, it was necessary for you to fire back at me. So let me remove "my error" so we can get you back focused on the real problem. I wouldn't write this kind of review or rate the way I did for any minor issue or without seeking someone higher up first. You were wrong. Don't take your business for granted. Communicate better and appreciate your loyal customers."
"This place is decent. Not amazing, but decent. I’ve been going to this nail salon for about over a year now and I’m never really impressed. They are reliable if you need something real quick when your usual people are booked. Nice ladies but the service itself when it comes to full set is always a gamble. Sometimes the shape is their biggest flaw. For example, oval or almond can be off centered and/or thick. I also wish it was CLEANER in there like all they do is sweep but never mop or deep clean. It seems so grimey sadly and that’s something I noticed while waiting for my pedicure. If your appointment is at 4:30, they are 9/10 going to take you back at 5. Also for as long as I’ve been going there, they have never updated their colors. This is the first I’ve actually been satisfied with."
"I’ve been holding off posting about this place because I don’t want it to become too busy, but this place rocks. I love my pedicures every time (I get the tropical) with great massages every time. And the sets, I cannot. Such a great job and I go monthly so I can say I’ve had a great experience every time."
"I’ve never ever had to leave a bad review, but I had to this time! The one star is for getting a same day appointment. Otherwise, the rest of my experience was just awful.
