"I got a wax appointment because there was no threading available. Both of under my eyebrows were burnt and peeling, like actually raw skin. Any qualified technician should’ve asked if I was taking any retinols or topicals and shouldn’t have proceeded with the service. I am giving this two stars instead of one because the owner Miriam attempted to make it better with some ointment but did not even offer a refund for the botched service."

"Very nice Spa! I got a lash tint and a spray tan with Bella! She was very sweet and gentle in her processes and does a fantastic job! My spray tan did not come out as an orange tone or blotchy, which I was quite worried about with spray tans. And my tint lasted for about a month! She made it look very natural. I will definitely be back soon!"

"I have recently discovered this spot as I moved backed to the burbs from Chicago. I first went in for a leg wax and I was very happy with my experience so, I tried a spray tan with Bella before a wedding party as she had mentioned it to me during my waxing I had never gotten a spray tan before but I really liked spray tans now in general as a service It was a little dark right after the appointment but Bella assured me it will be better after a shower which it was. Definitely recommend this place for waxing and spray tans They also offer threading but I was not able to get in for that yet."

"It was my first haircut after a year. AKS allure is awesome. Patricia did my hair, and she literally knows how to treat different hair for different people. She was so gentle all the time and made my hair look amazing. I had a great time with her. I'm definitely going back again. The service is extraordinary and relaxing . They have maintained the place so well, neat and spacious, with good music. The staff are polite , friendly, and welcoming. I had great experience with AKS allure. Kudos ladies"

"Emily is the best! The first time I went to see her I walked out with the best haircut I’ve ever received, and I was so excited to come back and get more services with her. This second time I saw her, I got a partial highlight, Olaplex treatment, cut and blow dry. Emily assessed my hair and we worked through what I wanted - subtle highlights that still looked fairly natural and a crisp trim with face-framing layers. She did such a beautiful job on the highlights (as evidenced by the attached picture), and my hair feels wonderful after the Olaplex treatment and cut/dry. She’s both a great person and a wonderful stylist - I couldn’t recommend her services enough, and the rest of the Aks Allure staff is wonderful as well."
