"I am new to the area and hadn't had my hair cut in almost a year. I requested a trim of 2.5 inches and for my layers to be redone. I lost closer to 4.5 inches and my hair was cut and styled for the early 2000s, not for 2023. I also have level 2C curls, which were brushed out and the cut itself is not for my curl type, meaning they will not lay correctly. I requested for my hair to be straightened for the cutting so it will be laid properly, to which the stylist denied my request and said there was no need for that. I knew it was messsed up whe she gave me the option of leaving with my hair wet or having her finish drying it and curling it with a curling iron. That alone should have told me everything i needed to know. Everytime I look in the mirror, I hate my hair more and more. On top of having to pay for that hair cut, I now have to pay somebody else to fix their mistakes."
