"My husband and I always like to try new places for services to give our business locally, especially new ones. I use to go to Solstice salon here and wanted to give the new LovingIt salon a chance. Unfortunately, I will not be going back. I needed an updo for an important black-tie ceremony event downtown last night and the comparison what I asked for vs what was done was no where near. After 30min, the stylist asked to see the picture again, took out the work she had done, which I didn’t mind because I thought she was just fixing it to look more like what I asked. Nearly 45min later she told me she couldn’t get it exactly the same as the picture , she needed to study that style and that this one is “unique.” My hair ended up falling out within an hour of leaving the salon and there was so much spray. I ended up washing my hair at the hotel in an attempt to do a simple style but my hair still has so much hairspray in it. I This was a Medal of Valor ceremony, an event I needed to look my best and this was not it. I did appreciate Tiwanna being accommodating with the flexible timing and she was very nice, the reason for the 2nd star. However if a stylist isn’t sure or comfortable with a client request, respect the client and be honest so something else can be worked out. Pic of style requested vs what was done"
