"A wonderful experience, very intimate and personal. Every course was exceptional and the wine pairing was spot on. Chef Akira visited our table at the end of our meal and it clear how passionate he is. Thank you, it was a very special evening!"
"I absolutely loved my experience at MoonGlow from start to finish. Every single part of my meal was amazing -- the food, the service, and the atmosphere! I just had to come home and write a review. Ambiance: The restaurant is very cute and has a warm vibe. It was 14 degrees and there were flurries outside, and the chef warmly opened the door to let us inside and even brought out a personal space heater to put next to our table because he thought we might be too cold. He and the waiter continued to apologize about the restaurant being cold, but my friend and I were perfectly warm and had no complaints. Service: With each course the table was promptly cleared and my water glass was never empty. Our server gave us fun and interesting facts about our dishes and was very, very attentive! Food: Each and every course was delicious. The chef even made a few extra dishes for us because he was worried we were cold and wanted to warm us up! For antipastos, we received a gnocchi antipasto with some to-die-for bread that was incredible, and an amazing salmon/uni/caviar antipasto with a lemon infused cream, olive oil, and sprouts that I really enjoyed. Then we were provided the best kimchi carbonara I have ever had, with perfectly cooked al dente noodles and a flavor that wasn't too heavy so I could eat every bite. I was honestly decently full at this point, but the next dish was a lovely wagyu beef with mashed potatoes that I ate more than half of because it was so delicious I couldn't stop putting it in my mouth. We got to see the steak before it was cooked, and it was beautifully marbled! I am not a dessert person because I don't like sweets, but this was the best tiramisu I have ever had and even though I was full I basically cleared my plate. It was fluffy with a delicious cream that was not too sweet and complemented the moist cake perfectly. I honestly cannot say enough good things about my experience dining here, and I can't wait to make my next reservation. It was worth every penny and more and I would brave freezing weather again and again just to eat here. Thank you so much to the chef and staff at MoonGlow! It was such a delight and treat to dine here tonight!"
"Cozy restaurant with reservation only accommodation. Friendly and helpful service from Yoshi and the 5 course tasting options - simply mind blowing with flavors and taste and presentation The smoked salmon, the kimchi carbonara, the fresh and seared tuna and finally the main entree the A4 wagyu beef in that Japanese bbq sauce was flavor after flavor explosion. Chef Akira completed this flavor journey with a whimsical tiramisu - everything was delicious and must try"
"Dinner 10/22/2023, 7pm Tonight’s dinner was Delicious! 6 courses for $100/pp including American & Japanese wagyu. Chef made some flavorful dishes such as his version of a carbonara incorporating traditional Italian methods with a unique twist of kimchi added, chefs kiss! Wagyu meatballs, A5 Miyazaki steak and tiramisu dessert were really good. Book a reservation and enjoy a delicious night with your favorite people!"
"Amazing dinner experience! The 6 course set prixe fixe dinner menu was not what expected since my husband made the reservation. At the beginning, we were unsure if we would be full since the portions are smaller but once we got to the pasta dish, we were stuffed! We couldn’t finish the waygu beef but it was so tasty we were disappointed! The tuna carpaccio was very light and refreshing. The sea urchin was smooth, creamy and exotic. The pasta was cooked Al dente and the carbonara sauce was just the right amount of creamy and tasty. Overall, it was a great dining experience."
