"We'd heard only good things and the experience lived up to the word of mouth. I probably would pass on the calimari, but the cheesy bread and pizzas were fantastic. We ordered the Detroiter and the birria. The jus for the birria was a shockingly nice addition. Pepperoni was excellent, the sauce was deep and flavorful, and the crust was light and crisp. Our server was helpful and quick."

"I've been wanting to come to this Detroit style pizza restaurant for a few months. The first time I came was on a monday bit they were closed. Then I checked the hours of operation and saw they are closed Monday and Tuesdays and Wednesdays they close at 3. I finally made it on a day that they were open. I walked in, and the place was nice. No one was in the restaurant except 2 staff members. I was greeted by the server and told to sit anywhere. I sat down and she brought me a menu. I took a photograph of. I saw 2 pizzas i wanted to try and asked her which one she recommended between the Motown Supreme and the Hoffa. She said the Motown was very good. I ordered that one. She asked if I wanted a salad, and I looked at the menu and ordered a garden salad. She brought out the salad and let me tell you the salad could feed at least 2 it was big. The only thing I can say bad is that I wish the salad was colder. I killed the salad, and then the pizza came out. It was hot, and the bottom was nice and toasty crunchy. The pizza flavor was very good and had a dollop of ricotta cheese on every square. I really enjoyed the pizza, but it was just kinda of pricey. The pizza is in a rectangle shape, and I believe the large had 8 squares. Crust was good and buttery. The flavor was on point. I ate a couple of slices because I was full from the salad I took the rest to go for later. Restaurant 7 oura 10 nice and clean Employee 7 outa 10 gave me good advice on pizza Salad 5 outa 10 wish it would have been colder Pizza 7 outa 10 pretty solid but pricey All in all, I would probably come back, skip the salad and try the Hoffa pizza, and also bring friends and family who are from outa of town."

"My husband and I finally made it to Motor City Pizza, and the restaurant lives up to the hype! This is a cute, little gem in a Lewisville shopping center on 407 - very close to the Highland Village border. The restaurant is decked out in all things Detroit from sports memorabilia on the walls to the Motown classics playing on the sound system. It is a cozy, warm atmosphere, and very clean! They have two large screen TVs behind the bar...perfect for watching whatever game is in season. The service is phenomenal. There was one man working there who was so helpful and proud of their offerings, that we thought he was the owner - until he said that he was a Texas boy. :) Well, that Texas boy knows a lot about Detroit-style pizza and hospitality, and we very much appreciated his enthusiasm and kindness. Now for the pizza! It did take a minute to prepare...but we were expecting that as they are made to order, and one can not rush perfection! And the end result was pretty close to it. We loved the deep-dish filling crust, the gooey cheese, and the sauce was absolutely delicious. My mouth is still watering thinking about that sauce - the perfect blend of spices that gives it just the right amount of flavor and kick. We highly recommend this pizzeria, and we will definitely be back."

"Best pizza in town! If you like thick crust, pan crust pizza, you will love this place. It is Detroit style pizza and it was my very first time eating Detroit style pizza. Loved it. My son and I had Motown Supreme which has peperoni, Italian sausages, onions, green peppers, mushroom. Just SO good. According to the waiter, there is a long line on weekends. We went on a weekday after a lunch hour rush but it was still full when we got there. It takes a while for the pizza to come out because it is not a thin Italian pizza, this is pretty thick heavy stuff. We will definitely go back for some more."
