Chimi's Fresh-Mex

"We went here on a Thursday night. I got the chicken fajita chimichanga. My wife got the shrimp chimichanga. We got a margarita. To start, the salsa is awesome. I wish they would give you servings for individual people, but as long as no one double dips it's okay. I would write the salsa as some of the best salsa I've had in these American style Mexican restaurants.. it was really good. It had actual vegetables, onions etc etc. It wasn't watery at all. The chimichanga was really good. I think the chicken might have been frozen. It had grill marks and was good. I mean I can't really complain but it is something worth noting. My wife said the shrimp chimichanga was really good. Other people at our table got soft tacos, nachos, and a burrito. No one complained and everyone seemed happy with their food. Waiter was really nice. He was very attentive and did a good job. I would come back here if I was ever back in the area. The restaurant was clean, decorated nicely, and overall had a great atmosphere."

"I've frequented Chimi's on multiple occasions, and my absolute favorite dish is their molcajete – a generous serving of mixed meats and cheese that provides exceptional value for the price. It's a hearty portion that can easily satisfy two people, leaving enough for leftovers. Additionally, I must commend their delicious horchata."
