"Staff and Dr provide EXCEPTIONAL CARE. The 2 leaving negative posts are NOT EVEN and have never been seen by Dr. Silvia. Specifically responding to the negative review from a previous poster, I feel compelled to reply. I sincerely don't know where this review is coming from. Since 1999 I have been HONORED to serve the El Paso community including the Spanish-speaking community in private practice, and have been doing Immigration Physicals for ALL nationalities as a Civil Surgeon since 2008. I am VERY proud to have graduated from La Universidad Central del Caribe Escuela de Medicina in the Free Associated State of Puerto Rico. My medical education was in Spanish and I speak it fluently. I enjoy speaking Spanish. If you don't believe me, try me! LOL! All of my staff speak both Spanish and English as well. If you must know, my wife is Hispanic. I dispute the poster's claim as to how much they were charged for the service provided. I will not violate privacy laws and divulge any information."

"This doctor doesn't speak Spanish, no matter what he claims. And when confronted about it he gets incredibly and unprofessionally upset. It is not a bad thing not to speak Spanish, but when you call in advance and they tell you "The doctor speaks perfect Spanish" you expect something professional. Instead you get a life altering diagnosis and start worrying so much to the point of getting a spike in blood pressure. That turned out to be such a dumb thing, only because not only they can't convey the words in Spanish, they also don't care. Having to call them multiple times to get a clear response with no luck, having to go back for clarification and get charged 50 dollars because of their incompetence. Terrible doctor, terrible staff. You are lucky not to get sued for mal practice. An immigration routine exam that was 400 dollars ( incredibly expensive to begin with) turned out to be 800 + because the doctor and the staff can't explain himself. Este doctor no habla español, el y sus empleados son incompetentes y groseros. Sus servicios son de lo más caro en el area. Ahorren el drama y elijan a alguien más."

"My husband and I had to wait a few months to be seen by Dr. Silvia BUT HE IS SO WORTH IT! Doctor Silvia asked many educated questions but never talked down to either of us. He listened openly our questions and concerns. He really took his time with each of us. He and his lovely staff were WONDERFUL."
