"Alma Lemez is a good doctor, treats patients with respect and always gives you the correct diagnosis. On the other hand the office staff is horrible! They never send your prescriptions or referral letters on time (they can take weeks!). Also you can call 3 times & each assistant will provide you with different information each time. They are not organized, so lazy & rude."

"UPDATE: Today I went back to Lemez to pick up my medical records since the request from my new doctor was ignored. One the phone they told me they would charge me $25 and .25 cents for any additional papers. I had been there for so long and it would be expensive. So I told Lupe one of her staff that I only needed the bone density results to take it to my endocrinologist. She told me that would be free. When I went in to get this document LUPE told me that the doctor did not appreciate my review of her. I told Lupe that I didn’t appreciate the lack of care I was provide. I was so upset that Lupe came at me like that and the Dr Lemez did not come out herself. What a coward. I’m so glad I am getting the care I deserve and need. I have been with Lemez for years: 1. Sends you for bloodwork and never calls you back with results. 2. If she can’t figure out what’s wrong she tells you to go to a psychiatrist. She’s told me that twice. 3. I looked up my test results thru Quest and my A1C was high. Called her office they told me she saw the results and to not worry about my A1C being high!! That was the last straw. Oh and the girl at the front told me she could no longer prescribe control substances (my sleeping med). Lemez did this after she found out I was going to another dr. Vengeful much."
