Reviews
"I used to go to this clinic when I was a teen. As a young adult, I had tons of concerns and questions about my health. However, I was told that I would have to schedule an appointment for each concern because the doctor only allows herself 10 minutes with each patient. They also disclosed personal information with my mom, after being told that nothing will be shared with her without my consent. If you have any respect for yourself and your body, do not go here."
"My appointment was at 3:15.. at time of review it’s 4:32 and still waiting... not coming back"
"I always had pretty good service for generic stuff like getting birth control or had a yeast infection but when I really needed them they failed me. Firstly, I only ever saw the nurse practitioner during my 4 years there which is fine as she did an amazing job but slightly annoyed out of 3 years I never saw Dr. Linda Lacy. Also, I began to bleed constantly which is abnormal as I go years without my period but no diagnosis yet. I bled for 6 months and began sleeping almost all day and didn't realize I was severely anemic. I kept going back and got an ultra sound or they would change my birth control but nothing worked and I was getting fed up. I finally went to the nurse practitioner for women's health at NMSU as I was attending at the time and she said I may possibly have PCOS. Many docs in the past dismissed this as my family doesn't have PCOS. The nurse at my school called sunwest to fax them my ultrasound and records from 6 months ago and what would you know the ultrasound clearly stated I had cysts on my ovaries yet when they called me months ago with the results they stated it was normal. The nurse referred me to an internist in Las Cruces Dr.Reynolds who put me on a better birth control for women with PCOS and started me on metformin a few months later. To solve my anemic 6 month bleeding issue was just switching to a better birth control which Sunwest would have known if they correctly saw my ultra sound results or even checked back again when I still complained of my bleeding issue. Thanks to the NMSU nurse who was a detective, I was finally rightfully diagnosed, given a proper treatment and finally on a road to woman's health and normal health. Sunwest failed me and I bled for 6 months!!!!!"
"Called to make an appointment as a new patient. Receptionist answered right away, I said I needed to make an appointment as a new patient and was asked to hold for just a minute. I waited on hold for 15 minutes and nobody ever came back to the phone. Very unprofessional in my opinion. I'll take my business elsewhere."
