"Let me just start this by saying that I have gone to so many different nail salons in STL and while I don’t want to put any others down, I can confidently say that they do not even compare to the level of service that I get at Star Nails. Unlike many of my friends and family, I’ve never had a nail salon or technician that I went to regularly. That is, until I started coming to Star Nails! The salon is clean and inviting, they play good music, have a huge selection of colors for any nail service you could want, and most importantly, the staff there is unmatched! Everyone I’ve met there has a great attitude and is so genuinely kind, considerate, and welcoming—no matter the time of day. I came in last minute this evening, as I hadn’t had my nails touched up since January 3rd (that’s right, my powder dip lasted me almost an entire month). Sam was my technician tonight and I am obsessed! She is the absolute sweetest, is so gentle (I have sensitive skin and nails), and she takes her time to make sure that I’m happy with the results. Thank you SO much, Sam! You did an amazing job and I can’t wait to come back and see you in a few weeks!"

"I gave them three try’s before leaving this review. Nice location and size so if you need something done quick and basic they can do it.. Tho they like to rush their services & do not care for the opinions of their customers. PLUS they don’t have you wash your hands after the buffing/drill process. They go straight to painting which leaves a layer of dry acrylic on your skin. I first schedule an appointment w/ Selena, she did my nails very thin (like press ons from the store) and she cut me w/ her file and had no remorse. Moving fast. Three weeks later I scheduled a fill in with Katie. I let her know I would like a LITTLE bit more shape (so she made them very thick) I explained to her how I didn’t like them and she wanted to tell me how I should like them “they need to be this thick, etc”. She left a clear layer of acrylic above the gold flakes giving it a cloudy look. & then charged me for “long nails” when clearly they are medium length. On top of not including a fall discount as it was advertised. I wanted to like this place hint the multiple tries but no way. I wish them growth. ( I included first and second time photos. You can see the difference in the gold flakes, no natural blend from cuticle to nail bed, crusty around the finger from acrylic left overs, etc.)"

"This place always does an amazing job! Katie has done my nails the past two times and she is so sweet and did an amazing job both times. This is definitely my go to nail salon. I got acrylics done and I swear they last over a month when I get them done here. Their prices are fair and everyone seems very nice."

"Selena is amazing! That was the quickest I’ve ever gotten a full set of tips with Deb in my life, and they look so great! My nails were even embarrassingly bitten down, and it was no big deal to her at all. I really appreciate her kindness, service, and competency! She is definitely an expert."
