"The recent … experience I have had with Behr is less than desirable!! I have always trusted and used Behr for the last 18 years ! And have never regretted my decision… until today! I painted my entire firsts floor 1200 sqft home humble but a lot of square footage of walls space with Behr products!! And probably a 1000 sqft of the exact same color and type of Behr paint ! Had to buy two more gallons of the Behr Eggshell 2400 untinted white paint today to complete my project… almost done! The first coat was with the original paint and went on with no problems … the Behr that I had been used to for the last 18 years !! Performance and predictability that made Behr my go to for so long!! Now I’m in the my 4th coat to cover the usual pencil marks I make for imperfections and added attention between coats and It’s not covering them !! Like I’ve said .. I’ve been painting for some 20+ years so it’s not me!! Also the foul off gassing of the Vinegar like smell has every one in the house saying they need to leave to get away !! Never had this before!! I’m assuming they went to more environmentally sound and “ cheaper “ additives than help their bottom line!! Not a good decision!! I have lost all confidence in the product and will not waste my time taking the gamble that it will work!! Would gladly pay more for a better product !!"
