Dr. Carin Appel is a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist located at 1301 Coulter Street South, Amarillo, Texas. She has been practicing with Women’s Healthcare Associates since 2003, specializing in general obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Appel is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from Texas A&M University and graduated with honors from Texas A&M University Health Sciences Center medical school. Her specialty training was completed at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.
