"Great place!! The Salvation Army in general as an organization truly does help people in the struggle. I don't think people realize the Salvation Army is more than just a set thrift stores. In my time of need SA was there to help me in my battles."
"Went here tonight based off the time And the cashier had a BAD ATTITUDE AND NEVER SMILES it was 6:07 and she says I’m CLOSED and I got here about 5:45 THINKING IT CLOSES AT 7 Because that’s what it says when I looked on website! So her stank nasty sour attitude showed But it was a honest MISTAKE. I told her they should change it on their website since she kept going on and on about this high priced Salvation Army Everything is OVERPRICED GOODWILL IS SOOO MUCH BETTER"
"Darnell is the current store manager, always on his cell phone talking, leaves the area when a employee has a concern (Associate calls him on his cell phone during Customer checkout), and the biggest problem there... just overprices everything like a pawn shop or a retail store. Corporate, wake up, and just terminate him! The store was run just fine by Emilia before he came a long. All electronics/household items are usually untested, defective, and/or broken. This is not being faithful to the community when everything comes off a donation. There is no overhead for the items they carry so what's the excuse to have high prices? From my understanding a red tag price never goes down and only applies to "new/sealed" items. Who wants to pay $1.99-3.99 a music CD, $2.99-4.99 a DVD, or $5.99-7.99 for a used sports video game? Hell, even a old t-shirt from a local high school is priced $3.99+, really? Then regular drinking glasses are $1.99+, when you could get new ones for $1.00 at Dollar Tree. That's just ridiculous. This is the WORST Salvation Army in Northern Lake County. Buyers beware!"
"Store is a fashion gem it is kept clean and stocked by the very dedicated and positive retail/support staff. All Clothing is clean and displayed in well organized areas by women's, mens, children, type and by color. High quality furniture donated is sold quickly, all goods are priced by value and sell fast. I believe that all money earned by store is put into supporting the on-site Salvation Army rehab center and retail support staff. Quality used donations are happily accepted by the helpful receiving personal. Receiving is on the North side of the building and open during regular business hours Monday-Friday."
