"One of a kind hang out. All the shops are unique and amazing. It's haunted. It was immortalized in the film Dazed and Confused. And it's a perfect spot to read or write a book. There is always something going on. Go hang at either of the two bars. Grab amazing coffee from Drip or a book at Libros. If you have spare time, spend it here."
"Great hometown individually owned little shops and has a craft fair every third Saturday. Come out and support local businesses!"
"What a neat place. The old Taylor high School turned into a multiple business venue. Each classroom had something different going on. They had an ice cream shop, a craft beer bar, hairdresser, and many other businesses it was pretty cool."
"What a place, never knew about it. Loved it. You gotta try Drip Coffee Shop, OMG! beautiful, I could stay there forever, such warm place to go and Sip a Spell. Will definitely go back on a Saturday when more shops are open."
"I really want to love old Taylor high. The concept is so cool and it’s a really fun space there are a number of small retail stores, a brewery, an ice cream shop, and a cute coffee shop. Each vendors space is well thought out and creatively designed. There is also a great outdoor area for the kiddos. The big drawback of old Taylor high is the food and I will not be back until they figure it out. They have a ton of food trucks, but they never seem to be open. I’ve been out on a Friday and a Sunday evening and only the seafood truck was open. And they were out of fish. My family (including two small children) have to drive 30 min+ from Austin. I’m happy to make that drive for a fun place like this, but not when there is no way to predict the food options. Most of the food trucks don’t even have any hours listed online so it’s a total gamble. I’m not sure how you can operate such a family friendly place and not have any food before 6:30 PM on a Friday or a Sunday. The Korean place is amazing and was definitely our savior, but it’s not the most toddler friendly. I’m still giving this place four stars, because I really want them to succeed, but as I said previously, I will not be back unless it’s for a special event or until they have a reliable food vendor."
