"Good sandwiches with a distinct style. We ordered a bunch of sandwiches for work. Overall, everyone was pleased giving it "5". I had the Spicy Daggett & deli salad. The sandwich & their others are unique.. the giardiniera was mild and flavorful & their signature salami dense, which is a nice balance to the toasty garlic bread crust. The salad was fresh & dressing plentiful. Tucked away in a great neighborhood full of places to eat, this is worth a walk through an authentic Italian St.louis atmosphere. Service was fast, efficient & polite. We will definitely go back."

"Quite possibly the best sandwiches I've ever had. I was looking to get an Italian sub on the Hill, but the worker recommended the Italian Trio and I'm sure glad I listened as it was exactly what I was looking for. My husband got the Hot Roast Beef sandwich au jus. That was easily the best roast beef sandwich I've ever tried. I can't wait to return. We went on a Monday afternoon for lunch and the place was full, we barely were able to get a table. While waiting in line, we spoke with another patron about other great food in the city. He was a regular and informed us it's the best place in the city to get a sandwich, he was absolutely right! The space was clean, staff friendly, and location convenient. We parked for free on the street a half block away and across the street."

"I had the privilege of picking up the lunch order for Schicker Ford. This was my first time here, and it won't be my last! I'll get to the food in just a second... I arrived at the pickup window and was greeted by a lady who had such a great positive attitude! They had ALL sandwiches DOUBLE bagged (like 10+sandwiches) and numbers that coordinated with the numbers on the recipe.. Thank you! Now the food... I don't think there is a "bad" sandwich there. The add ons to the sandwiches are spot on. The bread was amazing. The hot salami is a salami enthusiasts' dream! I added the horsey mayo, and that really made the sandwich for me. So the custom-built ability is where I get "you can't have a bad sandwich here." Highly recommend. ❤️"

"I’ve heard of this place for years, but I’ve never been here. My husband had the pork Nado. I had the hot roast beef on garlic cheese bread was so good. The potato salad is a mustard base which is not my favorite but it was good. I probably wouldn’t order it again but overall fantastic."

"Went there at 1:45 for lunch. The place was packed. I got the Italian trio it was very good. Big sandwich 1/2 would have been more than enough. Jim got the hot salami & roast beef. My sandwich was better. After all it’s famous for hot salami not roast beef. Glad we went I would recommend it."
