"I ordered a snorkel on 8 Sep 2023; today is the 26th. I called to check the status and was immediately told, "We'll refund the money." What the heck???? It would be great if the customer was notified that the item wasn't in stock. The refund is supposed to be made in 3 days. If I don't see it on my card in that time, I'll be calling back and writing another review. Oct 3rd - No refund on my credit card yet. I've lowered my rating down to one star. I wouldn't advise anyone to buy on line from this store. Horrible customer service. Give me my money back!"
"I scheduled a refresher course so I could go on a trip and dive, about a month ago, for today. We called all morning, and before we arrived to verify scheduling. They verified everything and told us to come. We showed up early for the class and waited over 45 minutes. I even drove by again later to see if anyone was there. They didn't show up, then told us he was "in the back of the building and that it was quite annoying that they never answered the phone but that there is nothing they can do for us" when we spoke he told us to drive down there and once we got there wasting yet another drive he told us it was full instead of calling us back and telling us that. Now, I have to figure out an expensive last-minute refresher course in Hawaii since I leave this week. I called them repeatedly and left messages to no avail. When I asked if they could get me in another slot, they told me they already overbooked the next group 22/20 just as they did this group. This was a 5.5 hour drive for us and planned for well over a month in advance. This is one of the most unprofessional experiences i have had in a while. *EDIT SINCE REPLY* Your store did my original open water cert class in an outdoor backyard pool in sept 2020, and I'd had nothing but good experiences here until this event. So I was... a customer. After this experience, you can count on me sending everyone I know elsewhere. On another note, when I initially called to schedule this course, you said the billing system was down as well as Padi, and we could pay in person. After this, your store associate told us that you were overbooked when I was there in person the day of. So either he was lying then, or you're lying now to look better online..."
"I had an amazing experience getting scuba certified through Island Divers in Denton, TX. The staff assisted me in purchasing my own boots, fins, snorkel and mask. The expenses added up, but all things considered, it wasn’t too bad. The first two days of dives took place at the Natatorium in Denton. The final 2 dives were in Terrell at the Scuba Ranch. All of the instructors I had were extremely patient and very knowledgeable. I never felt rushed or as if I wasn’t being watched closely. I recently got back from Hawaii where I completed my first recreational dive! It was beautiful and all possible because of island divers!"

KC and Lance have been very friendly, knowledgeable, and are clearly interested in their customers having an exceptional experience. To this point, I’ve only purchased gear from them and had them service some existing gear but these experiences have been so positive that I’ve decided to get my certifications with them as well.
