"Received several emails indicating the name change would not affect the amazing new balance I have received in the past. Although, I was told today that I cannot return New Balance shoes purchased online and I cannot place a new order for the same two pairs of shoes in larger sizes. Seems Big River isn’t going to be my go to New Balance store. Shopping at NB has gotten very difficult."

"I've been shopping at new balance stores for over 10 years. Always super friendly and helpful staff. Recent, it looks as though new balance (in Oakbrook Illinois at least) is now Big River Footware. I arrived this morning about 10:30 am expecting the usual great service to find the doors locked, with a big sign out front claiming "We are open". The door also had business hours posted, opening at 10 am. I could also see someone inside. I tapped on the glass, looked at him like what the heck. Nothing. Just ignored me. Of course the web says hours start at 12 pm on Saturday. Ok cool that's on me I should have checked online. But why the sign out front assuring the business is open? I mean you couldn't walk over to me and just say "Oh Ya sorry our hours changed. Come back at noon"? I don't like it. Not sure I'll be shopping here again. I'll just go online"

"I have always had excellent service for over 15 years. I have a wide foot and issues with my feet. The orthotics they sell are better than Scheck and Siress. The orthotics don't fall apart like Scheck and Siress. $700.00 vrs $50... I'll stick with New New Balance from now on. Manager Matt runs a great operation. Now, all they need is some colors in the wide shoes"

"Wanted to go to an actual brick-and-mortar store and saw this NB store had great reviews. Angela greeted me and after telling her exactly what I needed, she went right to work. Paired me with an amazing set of kicks w/in 15 mins. On the pricey side, but well worth it given my feet issues. HIGHLY recommend going to the Oakbrook Terrace location. I will definitely be back for the next pair of sneakers for our family."
