"I rated this place 1 star due to the lack of customer service. I love the REI store franchise, but this was the first time I felt discrimination. When I entered, there was no acknowledgment. When I was looking at camping items, the crew members came by me numerous times and never acknowledged me. Yet, when I stood next to a caucasian man, he was acknowledged. Then I looked at another item next to a caucasia woman. She was acknowledged and asked if she needed support. I was completely ignored again. At 1st, I thought of it as just maybe an oversight, but this happened again throughout the store. I even stood next to a store personal and still no acknowledgment. So this store will not be receiving my money any longer."

"This REI has a great variety of outdoor products and an excellent staff to assist with any questions that you may have. I went in to purchase a tent and the staff member Kirk helped me set up several tents in the store so that I could compare their sizes and make a decision. Their customer service was excellent and Kirk had all the answers to my plethora of questions."
