"Officer Swanzy #6436 is giving misinformation to people when he’s pulling them over and giving tickets I got pulled over for not having license plate on the front the dealer didn’t install and he said I could go to the court house after I install and they will check it real quick and I’m done…not the case I go there and the clerk says Officer Swanzy has been giving misinformation to many people he’s pulling over she already knew his name. You have to set a court date and see a judge in court all day over a license plate this is not a quick process like officer Swanzy says it is he needs to be addressed with this."

"June 6 at 2:00-3:00 am called dispatch to report a semi- truck running with all its lights on right next to my bedroom window…and she told me that a officer had talked with the driver and she said the driver was working for Georgetown….Blatantly false…!!! Someone should let her know that when someone calls the police they will know if a car shows up or NOT…. When I finally got a car to check on the driver of the truck…driver was asleep at the wheel and to my amazement the officer never even checked to see if the driver was drunk or sick or??????…."

"Normally they have been pretty decent but today I saw something that bothered me. While at my grandsons school for their Halloween parade I stood right beside 2 officers passing out sticker badges to only those dressed up as a cop. I made the comment about being biased and they agreed they were being. I believe this is the image you WOULD NOT want to be promoting especially in these times. Not to mention the fact if you can’t do for all kids you shouldn’t be doing for a few. Showing ALL kids you care promotes a far better relationship."

"3 officers were called to my street to investigate a man roaming vacant lot across street from my home. These offices as well as paramedics worked for over an hour to determine who this man was. One officer came to our door to ask for an Android phone charger so they could charge the man’s phone and try to locate someone to identify him. He appeared to be mentally handicapped and the officers were determined to find someone to care for him. After a considerable amount of time, two men who knew this person arrived and took him into their care. I was impressed with the concern these officers showed for the man. They repeatedly told me they were not leaving until they found someone to care for him. They were compassionate. They were caring.They were diligent in their duty to protect this citizen. Thank you!"

"I called because my dog kept barking in the middle of the night which is highly unusual. I checked my yard, didn’t see anything but a few minutes later she was barking furiously again. This went on for just over an hour. So I call the Georgetown Police. The officer who took my call was calm and listened carefully to my need. A car was sent to my home immediately. I’m so grateful to the Georgetown Police Department for keeping us safe 24/7. I appreciate all of their hard work and dedication on behalf of our community. Thank you!"
