"It’s a truly independent DIY space. Translation this is not a fancy posh bottle service style club, but it’s got great sound system. I’ve been around it since the beginning and have seen it ebb & flow… It is actually a very exact representation of what a good underground techno club in the rest of the world would be. They have brought solid international performers that would be performing in much larger venues like Tresor & Berghain in Berlin. People who review the space for lacking polish, but are missing the point entirely… not for everyone, but for some the only thing…."
"This place is a joke. Regulars can make up one thing to get you kicked out for no reason. But the crackheads can sell dope in the corner on the white couch all day. $20 cover to dance with 10 people. Look out for the crackheads. I've been to over 100 places similar and this would be ranked LAST. Such a JOKE."
"Very non-judgemental place with all kinds of different people. Also lots of industrial techno gets played here along with other niche genres. The sound system is fairly good too. Really glad this place opened up, somewhat of a blessing to the underground rave scene in Austin."
"wanna-be Berghain. Rude staff at the front. Austin already lacks a community in techno so this approach? not very smart. Entry guy treated us very condescending just because we hadn’t heard him say how much the cover was the first time. He yelled and treated us so unwelcoming. He even laughed because I told him he didn’t need to yell or be rude. We turned around immediately. Sadly austin still needs a good techno place, but this place ain’t it."
"I was in town for the weekend and really wanted to rave, in my opinion Austin is no longer a weird place and has mostly been taken over by gentrification and etc. Which mostly kills the weirdness of a place, so I didn't expect much. After doing a deep dive on reddit to see what spots are part of the underground rave culture of Austin I came across this name and decided to give it a go. Truly truly a place that gets the movement of the electronic music scene, as another reviewer put it, if you like the fast and nasty stuff this is your spot. All age ranges, all types of people. I had a blast! & danced & jumped hard. I love being able to express yourself through sound and dance in a non-judgmental zero elitist environment. Great staff & vibes. This place is P.LU.R all the way. Definitely recommend this place to my fellow ravers."
