Waited weeks , called customer service, had to be called back and now on hold in excess of 30 minutes for $22 refund that they agree wasn't delivered. After decades of spending my money with Academy,never again. To add insult to injury,they will reply with some politically correct doublespeak and never solve the problem. DO NOT shop online."

"At the Evans GA location we went to purchase socks for my husband to wear with his work boots. We chose a 3 pk of Ariat that was in the spot for $14.99. There were at least 4 pegs worth of these 3 pk socks in the $14.99 spot.When we got to the register they rang up for $20.99. We questioned the price and the cashier asked an associate to check the price. He came back with the price of $20.99. I told the cashier that there were several packs in the spot for $14.99 and decided to meet the associate to show him where we got them. I showed him that there were several packs in the $14.99 spot. The only thing he said was, "Yeah they are in the wrong spot, this is for a two pack". Then he left them in the wrong spot. I rarely shop at this store anymore, we were just trying to use up a gift card someone had given us. I can tell by how unorganized the store is and the uncaring attitudes of the employee's that this is the beginning of the end for the Academy in Evans, GA."

"The store is stealing from the customers and claiming it is the policy. We purchased a pair of shoes that was 89.99 before taxes as a gift wrong size when returning them to same store they wonted too refund 52.00$ but on the shelve they where 89.99 with hot deal of 69.99 as seen in the pic when confronted the store manager he said that it was policy that you got the lowest price in last 90 days but that price did not have too be at that store but would not tell what store was selling them at the price they where trying too refund too.."

"Beware! Run away as fast as you can! Crooks,Liars and Unstable people got hired there!! Need zero stars! Will definitely shop with their competitors! Academy is opening a new store in Springfield,il. Store Managers and Hiring Managers have major issues according to reliable people in this community who applied there recently.! People that do get hired are unqualified and messed up like they are Not off to a Good Start in this area lots of negative reviews"
