"My boys attended one day of summer camp here this summer. Kathy, the owner, is the only adult who is involved in supervising 20 kids enrolled in camp. She uses tweens who are not old enough to work as counselors. In the one day my kids attended they said at least 5 of the 20 campers were bitten or kicked by the horses. Also one of my sons got heat exhaustion from exposure during camp. They were supposed to be inside with air conditioning during the afternoon but instead were in an old building with window units that didn't really work so it was hot inside. My kids said that all the kids just wandered around standing in front of the window units trying to find one that would cool them off. I called and spoke to Kathy about my concerns and she told me that it's hot in Texas in the summer and that horses are dangerous. She was rude and condescending. Unsafe environment for kids."

"We went on a 2 hour horseback trail ride at the east location of tri-star farm. The experience was amazing, the trails on the ranch are beautiful and our guide (Rebekah) was just perfect. "We had a group of four and they were able to make a same day trail riding appointment. 3 of us had never been on a trail ride and they made it very easy to learn and worked really well with the kids to make sure everyone was comfortable. Staff was super friendly and we enjoyed talking with them during the ride. Horses were beautiful and treated really well. Everyone had a blast and I would definitely go again when we come back to Texas!!"
