"I recently visited Waterloo, drawn in by its vibrant atmosphere and family-friendly vibe. The place certainly delivers on its promise of a welcoming environment, especially for kids, making it a great spot for family outings. The decor and ambiance set a cheerful tone right from the start, offering a pleasant backdrop to our meal. However, the food didn't quite match up to the initial impression. The dishes we tried were somewhat lackluster, lacking the flair and flavor we were hoping for. It felt as though there was a missed opportunity to showcase more exciting and delicious options on the menu. Additionally, the chips, which can often be a highlight or a letdown at such establishments, sadly fell into the latter category. They tasted as if they were store-bought, missing that fresh, homemade quality that can elevate a casual dining experience. In conclusion, Waterloo has a lot going for it in terms of atmosphere and kid-friendliness, making it a potentially good choice for families looking to dine out. However, the culinary and service aspects leave room for improvement. With some tweaks to the menu and a boost in service enthusiasm, Waterloo could easily elevate itself beyond a 3-star rating. As it stands, it's a decent option for a casual meal out, particularly if the ambiance is your top priority."

"I normally order the catfish which is great however I tried the nachos and it was so disappointing. The cops were good, the flavor off the beef was good but didn't care for the white cheese queso on top. I ate it, but would not order again. The staff is always great and even the robot "girl" delivering the food, Vanessa!"

"My wife and I came in here for the first time tonight, and it was incredible start to finish. The moment we walked in the host was so pleasant and pointed us outside where we could sit with our fur baby while we waited for a seat outside. They are so pet friendly and and staff is so personable. While waiting for our table Jaci came over and loved on our pup and made us feel so welcome! We got seated at our table and we had the pleasure of Nicole being our server and she was exceptional. By the end of the visit we felt like she was our best friend! From management to servers to food runners everyone was perfect and so friendly. We will definitely be back and become regulars at this location! Whether you live around the corner or just passing through stop by because you will not be disappointed!"
