"First time here from the valley and unfortunately didn't like it. The sign outside was missing like 2 or 3 letters. Some of the staff seemed like they were high. We ordered a bottle for $200 and some and upon drinking from it were told we couldn't do that. The place closes at 3am but the security started picking up our drinks at 2:20 am. Also, there is too much lighting at the tables at the top.The music was good and there are a lot of restroom stalls."

"We are from out of town and this was our first time at this establishment. Security was friendly and very professional. Felt very safe and at home. Staff was top notch. We would also like to give a shout out to JR for making us feel welcome and checking on us to make sure everything was fine. Will definitely come back."

"I cannot wait to return to this establishment. Being handicap I tend to be a bit anxious about going out to bars and clubs. Often because parking isn’t easy to find and in crowded places it’s hard to maneuver with a walker. I was pleasantly surprised that sound check had plenty of parking and the Owner and staff went above and beyond to make sure my party and I had amazing time . The Owner went out of his way to greet me at the entrance and escort us to a table , throughout the night he came several times to make sure I was enjoying myself. He takes a pride in making sure he has created an amazing environment for all to feel welcome and safe and have an amazing time , which we absolutely did! Everyone so polite and attentive. I think it’s show so much character that he stays open later to allow his clientele to continue dancing while also deterring violence at whataburger and drunk driving because you have up to three hours to sober up with water and also tacos from the stand outside. If that isn’t someone who cares for their community I don’t know what is. Thank you so much to everyone at Sound check for allowing me to have such an amazing experience! P.S. Ladies you will be safe waiting for your tacos because security is always present!"

"The owner is the white brutally hit a women, who was asking for help. A gentleman threw his bottle in the trash can and was attacked by four of their security because they didn’t like how he threw the bottle in the trash, keep in mind that is what the owner stated. She thought it would be safe and ask for him and when she did she was attacked. Both the women and the man brutally attacked are left with horrible scratches, marks, brusing, black eyes. Police is involved there will be justice. This isn’t the 1st, 2nd time the owner has used his “power” to degrade the people who pay his lifestyle. This is supposed to be a safe place to go and it’s not. There is a video that has gone viral and will continue to till justice is served."
