"Horrible experience. Service was terrible, waited over 20 min for our food then waitress never came back to check on us until she brought the bill. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. Pattie was cold and raw in the middle so I couldn’t eat it. Will never eat there again."

"We were here on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurant was not very busy, but the service was horrible. Our waitress came to our table and took our beverage order. She brought our soft drinks and then took our food order. While we were waiting for our food, the waitress came back again to take our food order before realizing that she already had it. We continued waiting and I was starting to wonder if she forgot to turn in our order to the kitchen. When our food finally arrived, my wife took a bite of her chicken sandwich. It was cold on the outside and raw in the middle. We tried to get our waitress’s attention but she never even looked in our direction, nor did she ever come to check on us. When the waitress finally came back to the table, she was bringing our check. My wife told her that her sandwich was raw and she didn’t want another one because my daughter and I were already done eating. She apologized for never coming back to check on us and she took the sandwich off the bill. The bill was still $40. This was a lot considering I got a burger and fries, and my daughter got wings and fries. My wife and daughter had water to drink and I had one soda. We left the restaurant and ran a couple errands before heading home. On our way home, we had to pull over because I got sick. This was only my second time eating at this Charcoal Grill and I’ll never go back! After having conversations with friends, I learned that raw chicken being served is a frequent problem with this restaurant."

"Ordered through DoorDash, one item ordered was the soup, salad and bread. Didn’t even receive the soup when it’s listed in the name! Nashville hot chicken sandwich was not good, chicken was dry, bun was super dry. Decided to get tater tots with the sandwich and those were soggy. Definitely not worth the money."

"I ordered the nachos with seasoned beef for delivery. The cheese was standard cheese and was congealed upon arrival. I was expecting the traditional American nacho cheese blend and was rather disappointed. The amount of seasoned beef for the price of ~$4.50 was severely lacking. They put the additions were on the side instead of on top which also threw me off as well. If you order this, take out the "cheese" and substitute in beer cheese at least."

"What a great restaurant. The server was very friendly and helpful. Interesting menu, great location, amazing food. They had a wonderful beer selection. I chose to order the salad, soup, and bread combo. All three were delicious! including the cinnamon butter. Yum! I highly recommend The Charcoal Grill in Burlington, Wisconsin!"
