"Shout out to Jimmy and Alexis. Went in not knowing really what I wanted. Test drove a 2017 Cadillac I loved it but wasn’t sure still if that was the way I wanted to go. They respected my wishes to shop around they didn’t nag me or hound me trying to pressure me on buying it. I reached out 5 days later and went forward with the purchase. Jimmy was the salesman he was wonderful, he was knowledgeable whatever he said he did and Alexis the sales manger was great checking in and making my requests happen the best of her ability. I 100% recommend going to them and purchasing a car new or used. They have several locations and are willing to put you in the right direction no matter what you choose. Hard thing to find in this business!!! So look no further then them and buy! Ask for Jimmy or Alexis and tell them April sent you!"
"I decided I was going to purchase a new Jeep, and trade in my Wrangler. So, I looked around and found the model and trim level I wanted. I reached out to the St. Charles Jeep dealer, and began emailing with them. It was confirmed that the car was in stock, the price online was accurate, and most importantly, there were no required add-ons. I did the online KBB “instant cash offer” which said there was an offer for a little over 17K on my Wrangler - which frankly was low - but I figured they needed to lay eyes on it first. I took the hour and a half long drive out to the dealership, brought my gas-guzzling Wrangler, and met with a salesman. They started the appraisal for my car, and I went over the details for the one I wanted to buy. This is where it started to go wrong. First, despite asking and being told in advance about the “add-ons” being optional, it turned out that was a lie - to the tune of a few thousand dollars. Then, they came back with a laughable amount for my trade-in - $14,000. (I say laughable, because I did, indeed, laugh). Thinking it must be a mistake that they went down from the KBB cash offer, instead of up, I spoke with the used car buyer. It became apparent they were serious. So, I walked out. - I’ll leave a picture of what they think a $14,000 Wrangler looks like (it has about 78K miles, mind you) Next day, I bought the same model and trim from Elgin Jeep - and was given a more fair $22,000 for my trade in. (In fact the Jeep in Elgin was a few hundred dollars less). So, if you have more money than common sense this may be the dealership for you. Otherwise, heed my caution, head up north a bit and save yourself the time and money."
"I had absolutely the best experience here! I bought a Pacifica Limited. Peter helped me as I walked in, even though he’s the manager, the other sales employees were busy, so he showed me the van. Luis took me for a test drive and I fell in love with it! Luis was so kind and helpful. I came back the next day to wrap up everything, Peter greeted me with open arms and then comes Jimmy! The sales guy! He took me for another test drive, got all my paperwork done. He was also very knowledgeable and kind. Now off to finance. John looks like he’s a serious numbers guy! He was so sweet to work with and got me the best deal! I was out of there so quickly! To top it all off, I forgot my purse there and Peter waited for me to drive back and get it! What a great staff and experience! Thank you!"
"We purchased a gently used RAM 1500 Laramie from St. Charles CDJR. We worked with Matthew D. as our product specialist and his manager Victor G. Both of these people were good to work with and got the results we needed to move ahead with the purchase. We initially made an appointment with a different specialist who was not available nor was the truck ready for us. Matthew stepped right up to help us out. It took a while for the truck to be available, but it was worth the wait. The purchase worked out well. We would certainly work with Matthew and Victor again."
