"Had another place rented and partially paid for and almost 5 months later we were told we could rent the place for 2 weeks, it had to be for a month. We did get another place that was good, but didn't appreciate things getting messed up. This place only had 1 review that was good but really wanted the original place."

"Working with Padre Getaways was very easy. The location of the property was good. The inside of the property needed attention! Most importantly the mattresses in both bedrooms definitely need replaced. The queen mattress rolls to the center and the king mattress in the master bedroom has a hump in the center. Both box springs are broken down so when you roll or get in or out of bed they make a horrible noise. It absolutely wakes up your sleeping partner. One of the door knobs was broken. The toilet paper holder was broken. The outdoor light was broken. There was no dish rags in the kitchen for wiping off the countertop or washing a dish. You basically get three bath towels two hand towels and a couple wash clothes. That’s for a months stay. If you want anything more you need to bring it. There are no spices no small containers with lids. Bring everything you think you might need. We plan to go back next year but not returning to this property. We talked to another couple at the fourplex and they stayed in that same unit two year’s prior and said they had the same issues and told the management company so they could forward to the owners but obviously nothings been corrected. So disappointed."

"You can tell no one stayed in the place for awhile. The floors were dusty so our feet were dirty the whole time. I wish they had a grill, they had one in the garage that was locked up. I bought my own charcoal grill and left it there. They had deck chairs but really no tables. Need night stands to set stuff on. Only had 2 for 4 beds. I used a bar stool for a night stand. Out of all the closets they had, only one had a closet pole to hang clothes on but no hangers. For the cost of the stay I felt they should have had these amenities. I would stay here again now that I know what to bring."

"Oh my goodness, never enough wonderful things to say about Cora Lee 104. It is the perfect location for us, and has everything we need for our week stay each year. Love the feel of this condo, super comfortable from the living area to the beds. We also love the new renovations in the bathrooms and kitchen. This is our go to place each year for our annual visit to SPI. And not to forget to give kudos to Padre Getaways, who are always quick and helpful with any issues we may have (we didn't have any this trip to mention). Love this management company! Book any condo / rental with them, you won't be disappointed."

"My husband and I rented Casa de las Palmas for the month of Feb. 2023. The unit was in cool setting on the canal and had been well cleaned. It was uniquely decorated in a fun way and we were excited to be there. We found there were no hangers in the closets. No problem, they delivered some right away. After unpacking we went watch some TV and relax. It was then we learned. THERE WAS NOT ONE COMFORTABLE PLACE TO SIT IN THE ENTIRE UNIT. EVERY PIECE OF FURNITURE WAS BROKEN DOWN AND AWFUL TO SIT ON. We paid $5,000 to rent this place for one month. There is no way we should have had to live like this for that money. The chairs at the table had been cut back so that you needed a booster seat to sit at the table. They brought out some other kitchen chair (old, stained and uncomfortable but at least the right height for the table). They refused to do anything further, including refunding part of the rent. I invited them to come out and look at the furniture and was told they were familiar with the furniture and it is designed for "sink-in comfort". Then they offered to bring out additional pillows that we could put under the cushions. We had already stuffed every decorator pillow we could find under those cushions. It was awful. It's been two weeks since we left and my back is still messed up from sitting on broken down furniture. About 10 days before we left, the p-trap came loose under the kitchen sink. We cleaned up the stinky water mess and lined the p-trap back up to the sink drain but the plumbing was old and it didn't securely attach. We used items under the sink to balance it in place. We notified Padre Getaways but they did not send anyone out. I would NEVER use Padre Getaways again. I feel very ripped off by this company charging us luxury rental prices and delivering very substandard furnishings. THIS ADDITION IS ADDED FOLLOWING THE REPLY FROM PADRE GETAWAYS: Padre Getaways we DID allow you to address the leak. We were told you would be out on Monday and you weren’t. And I certainly know the difference between soft “designer furniture” and worn out furniture. This furniture is worn out. If you are interested in improving our opinion of your company, a partial refund of the rent would show you are interested in customer satisfaction. We believe were over charged given the condition of the unit and it’s furnishings."
