"We've been to Smitty's many times and have had a great experience and really good food, but somethings changed and it wasn't for the better. Ordered Jack Mac n Cheese bites they were fantastic.. hubs ordered their famous tenderloin it was burnt, super salty, and hard as a rock. I ordered their boneless chicken wings and they were basic at best. We came in at 7:30 and thought it was enough time, however felt so rushed to eat and get out. The waitress brought us the bill directly after our food and said no rush however actions were very different brought us 3 containers, are you done with this plate, collecting everyone's ketchup and mustards off the tables. I don't know what happened last night really hoping that our next visit is what we were familiar with and our food is not burnt or over salted. The waitresses were very loud lots of shouting unnecessarily. We were super disappointed."

"Visited on our way home from Streator because we saw them listed on a Pork Tenderloin Facebook group. While the size of the tenderloin didn't disappoint, unfortunately the flavor was lacking. If you like a really crunchy plain panko breaded crust then this is for you. The tenderloin is pounded super flat so there isn't much meat to each bite. The bar is quaint in a very small town. The bartender was very good and knew all the regulars by name and what they wanted to order."

"I finally got the chance to get to Smittys to try their HUGE tenderloin. It was fantastic, a lot of them are big but lack in taste, not this one. The flavor was great, and it was cooked perfectly. Our server was knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. I will definitely return"
