"EDIT at the end for response. Avoid this place by any means possible. Not great work, even worse humans. Had a root canal and crown completed, average quality work. No pain. However, it doesn't seem like they know how to bill insurance and their patients correctly. They asked for over $1,500, up front, before the claim was even submitted to my insurance. Now they're also telling me that $3,990 is a "standard rate" in this area for a RC, build up and crown....on a SINGLE bicuspid. Very very suspect and unbelievable. I don't know what to say.... Medium-Quality work, and then all else comes across as shady and just flat out WRONG EDIT: I haven't ever been to a dentist that asked for any payments prior to insurance processing. It seems they wanted to push me to sign up and use Care Credit, I. An only assume they're getting a kickback for that. Why they can't wait for the usual insurance process is beyond my ability to understand. Very shady billing practices."

"My 10yr old daughter chipped off half of her front tooth about a year ago in a roller skating accident. We originally went to a different dentist to fix it, and it was nothing but a slow process with low quality work done. After the filling they put on broke again (the 3rd time) I decided to shop around for another dentist. They are professional, kind, attentive, knowledgeable, and so sympathetic towards nervous little ones and parents. Within just two weeks of me making her first appointment, my daughter now has a much more permanent solution, a porcelain crown (done in one day!), that looks and feels better than any of the “quick fixes” from the other dental office. She also already loves the team at McHenry Family Dental and actually looks forward to going to the dentist because of them. I am so grateful to have found them and I’ll never take my family anywhere else! 10/10 Would absolutely recommend to anyone."
